Future prediction

The world is hitting its high-point in technological advances, and sci-fi movies have been making wild-sounding predictions on what will happen in the (not-so-distant) future.

What will these mind-blowing changes look like?

'Wall-E', for example, believes that artificial intelligence will be so good that humans will be fully buried in virtual reality. While science is certainly increasing knowledge, it's actually increasing our ignorance even faster.

According to the movie 'Avatar', it will all be about data. Human and nature will communicate in one big network, uploading and downloading data. When technology becomes so advanced that it changes the human race.

In 'Minority Report' we see a future, with advanced technology, with personalized commercials. Television that will be watching us, and customizing itself to what it knows about us. Ad’s will appear in the air around us, talking directly to us. The thrilling thing is, that will make us feel we're part of the medium. The scary thing is, we'll lose our right to privacy.

In 'Inception', you explore the existence of a technology that allows you to enter and share the same dream as someone else. A world where mind reading is made possible.

Dear finder,

If u are reading this, then that will mean that my capsule has been found and opened. I’m hoping everything went according to plan and it’s the year of 2030. It will also mean that the technology is still able to read USB-sticks and HTML, Great!

This capsule was constructed in June 2014. It contains one HTML file on a USB-stick secure enough to survive the next couple 26 years. Here u will find my future predictions.

Not only i noticed that allot of developed technology is inspired on sci-fi movies over the years. So i made my own future prediction based on a couple of nowadays sci-fi movies. Enjoy!
